Preventative Dentistry
Complete Oral Examination - Examination of the teeth, gums, jaw, cheeks, tongue, palate, face and lips. Includes the diagnosis of various lesions, abnormalities in the mouth, and oral cancer screening.
Scaling - Removal of hard deposits (tartar) on the teeth.
Polishing - Removal of stain on the teeth.
Fluoride - Concentrated fluoride treatment to strengthen and restore enamel, helps in the prevention of dental caries.
Antimicrobial Agents Rinse - Used as part of a dental program to treat moderate to severe periodontal disease.
Desensitization - A varnish that is used to coat and seal exposed root surfaces, minimizing temperature sensitivity.
Pit and Fissure Sealants - A plastic coating applied to the biting surface of the tooth, sealing deep pits and grooves that are difficult to clean with a toothbrush. It also helps to protect the biting surface of the tooth against decay.
Restorative Dentistry
Composite Fillings - A tooth coloured material used to fix tooth decay or repair a broken tooth.
Root Canal Therapy - Root canal therapy involves removal of the nerve of the tooth, cleaning and shaping of the canals then the canals are filled and the tooth is restored to a functional state.
Crowns - Covers and protects damaged teeth; such as one with a large filling, or a root canalled tooth. Crowns can also be used to improve the appearance of teeth that are crooked, discoloured or misshapen.
Implant Crowns - Similar to a conventional crown, implant crowns are anchored to a dental implant rather than your natural tooth.
Bridges - A bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth by permanently joining an artificial tooth to adjoining teeth.
Dentures - Complete and Partial dentures are removable appliances made to replace many teeth.
Extractions - Removal of teeth.
Tooth Whitening - Take home whitening kits or strips.
